Have ever woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror and just thought "What The Hell Am I Doing" I know you are reading this and thinking yes I have, "Me too" I would say most trans people go through this at some point, your hair looks crap and your losing more and more of it each day, is that familiar? your skin looks so bad with all the shaving as you need to get every last little bit of stubble, red lumps under your nose start to appear..
Face it you look like crap, but you don't have to look this way..get off you bum and do something about it, never give up you will face so much going through your transition don't ever let a mirror set you back, its not what you see on the outside its how you feel on the inside, remember a little make up can do wonders, little trick for the nasty shaving bumps is Aspirin .. crush one up mix it with a little water and slap it on the effected area, it does work I have tried and tested it myself, also find some videos on make up, I have some on this site just have a look..
Once you have the face sorted your then faced with the big outside nasty world where everyone will look at you and call you names want to beat the crap out of you, point laugh, shout "look a tranny".. well that's what you think will happen, in reality its nothing like that at all, I am not saying you will not get any looks, but you have to ask your self are they looking at me because ........, or because people look at people, what else do you do with your eyes, think about it.. YOU look at other people why?.. its something that people do..
You have now found your way out the house and your happy walking around the shops, wanting the lovely dress you see, but wait how can you buy it.. you might look female but you sound like a big butch guy with a bad throat, you can do two things grow a pair of boobs and just go for it, trust me its not as bad as you think it is, no one is going to say anything or treat you any different, remember they want your money not your life story.
The other option is buy on-line I will not lie I did that myself until I got the bottle to go in and buy over the counter, its an experience you will remember for a long time, for all the right reasons.
So you have just bought the dress you wanted and your walking around the shopping centre and BANG "NO you have not been shot" your bladder feels like its going to explode, you have some options here, you can hold your head up and walk into the ladies toilet as this is the place you should be using, remember no one is looking at you everyone in the toilet want the same thing, and its legal for any person to use any toilet any time as long as its for the purpose toilets are intended for, female toilets sometime have male attendants checking them.. so if a man can go in so can you..
The other option is find a Disabled toilet most of the time they are locked so look in coffee shops.. if it does bother you that much plan your day ahead find toilets before you need them remember where they are, I did this and it did help with the worry at the start...
Just remember you are you never let anyone take that away, so you might not look like Kate Moss, you look better remember that never forget how wonderful you are.. don't hide away the world needs you, your one step away from a life of happiness take it and just have fun you only live once... and remember I am here every day and most of the night if you need me... UK time :) I do need my beauty sleep and the way I look in the morning I need lots :) xxxx
